Background
Amburd's advisory practice draws on 11+ years of federal proposal management experience across the defense, civilian, intelligence, and international sectors. That experience spans the full pre-award lifecycle — from opportunity identification and capture strategy through proposal development, production, and post-submission debriefs — across simplified acquisitions, full and open competitions, IDIQ task orders, and international B2G pursuits.
Our principal has managed proposals at every organizational scale — from small 8(a) firms building their first compliance processes to mid-market defense contractors running concurrent multi-volume pursuits to global technology companies managing international satellite and telecommunications bids across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
At each organization, the work went beyond proposal writing. It included building the systems that make sustained pursuit volume possible: resume libraries, past performance databases, compliance templates, color team processes, and the institutional knowledge that turns ad hoc bidding into a repeatable operation.
